Cocktail & Convo

Career & Culture Experience
Sofalounge HQ · Shaoxing
A full-day experience blending career development and cultural exchange. Attendees took part in workshops on navigating the Chinese job market, personal branding, and cross-cultural communication — all led by creatives and professionals living the experience.
Paint, Sip & Launch of Sofalounge
Sofalounge HQ · Shaoxing
The official public launch of Sofalounge as a platform — marked with a Paint & Sip evening that brought the community together. Guests painted, sipped, laughed, and celebrated the beginning of something bigger. A night that perfectly captured what Sofalounge is all about.
Key Skills for Career Success in the AI Era
LinkedIn Shanghai Office · Shanghai
The Sofalounge team joined LinkedIn × BeHiveGo for Key Skills for Career Success in the AI Era, a session led by Eric Sim, CFA, on navigating careers in the age of AI. We came to learn from the insights, and from how meaningful professional spaces and communities are built.
Building Your Career Identity as a Student in China
Mingshi Residence – Integrated Service Complex (名士之家·综合服务体) · Shaoxing
Navigating your career as an international student in China comes with a unique set of challenges — and a unique set of opportunities. This session brings together students, recent graduates, and working professionals for an honest conversation about building a career identity that works here: how to position yourself, who to connect with, and how to turn your international experience into a real advantage. Expect practical takeaways, open discussion, and the chance to meet people who get it.
Imagine and Play Golden Week Festival
Shaoxing Place · Shaoxing
Sofalounge teamed up with Shaoxing Place and Tongji SIIDI for a Golden Week edition of play and creativity. The afternoon brought together a live freestyle show, talks from our speakers, a paint and sip session and a Lego build. Students and young creatives from across Shaoxing came through to watch, make things and meet new people. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our partners for hosting.
